Billy Montenegro is a self taught Southeast Los Angeles (SELA) photographer and founder of the SELA Photography Club. He has been developing and growing his art practice since 2009, when he was finally able to purchase his first camera. As a community photographer, Billy has documented weddings, quinceañeras, wild life, merchandise and lifestyles. He developed a passion and focus for nature and landscape photography. His artistics style highlights and celebrates the richness in diversity and color in the world. He has devoted a large part of his artistic work in capturing local natural wonders, teaching others about nature and photography. He hopes his work inspires his audience to appreciate the outdoors and to view photography as an art form.
